Everyone has a path, and man, wouldn't it be easier if our roads were paved with arrows? Van Darien has had an interesting journey since she started performing in July 2008. Starting out playing only a couple shows a month, with barely enough material to stretch over a 30 minute set, and by April 2010 playing 3 hour shows an average of 4 nights a week. Her first break was opening for Ian Moore on Valentines Day 2009, and from then on was performing regular opening spots in the Texas music scene for artists such as Mike McClure, Larry Joe Taylor and classic greats such as Richard Leigh. Upon her third year in performing, Darien decided to take her music into a more positive route, writing inspirational songs in hopes of moving and motivating others. She now has set goals to take their message of faith on the road in hopes to help inspire others.
